Will Smith ‘DENIES’ he gave August Alsina, 27, permission to have an affair with wife Jada Pinkett Smith, 48, as she slams sensational claims as ‘absolutely not true!’ He said that he, and Jada don’t have an “open marriage.” A lot of so called Hollywood power couples who aren’t “in love” but need to pretend to for the kids, and or PR purpose have an open marriage, and the rumors that Will & Jada have such a union isn’t new. Like the rumors that they both belong to the “Alphabet” community. That also makes tons of sense especially with “Big Willy” who has had the “Bisexual” tag for decades. But Will Smith has reportedly denied the sensational claims made by singer August Alsina that he gave him his blessing to have a long love affair with his actress wife.
Reports that Will’s representative branded the reports as ‘wrong’, while a spokesperson for Jada Pinkett Smith denied the allegations saying “ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE.” But yeah that sounds legit. This is more o
The singer, 27, formed a friendship with the family in 2015 after being introduced by 21-year-old son Jaden. August even accompanied the famous clan on holiday to Hawaii in 2016, as well as attended the 2017 BET Awards with the mum-of-two. However, a spokesperson for Will, 51, has told The Sun Online that the accusations are “wrong”.
August, 27, told The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee that he was in love with Jada, 48, and said: ‘I sat down with Will [Smith] and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership… he gave me his blessing.’
According to Page Six, it was Jada’s son Jaden, 21, who introduced her to August in 2015.
August said the two became very close, and holidayed together with the family in Hawaii a year later and they even attended the 2017 BET Awards together.
He said: ‘I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her.
‘I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it, so much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.
While August claims the affair lasted for years, it is not known what the time period for this was.
Jada has been married to Will since 1997, they are parents to Jaden and daughter Willow, 19. Will has a son Trey, 27, from his marriage to Sheree Zampino, 53.
August is currently promoting his new album The Product III:stateofEMERGEncy, and has a new YouTube doc StateofEMERGEncy: The Rise of August Alsina.
He previously denied an affair had taken place in 2019 after his track ‘Nunya’ was released.
Rumors were sparked by the lyrics: ‘You got me feeling like it was an act, you’re just an actress / Putting on a show ’cause you don’t want the world to know.’
The singer claimed he is not speaking out to cause trouble.
He said: ‘Contrary to what people may believe, I am not a troublemaker. I don’t like drama. Drama actually makes me nauseous.
‘And I also don’t think that it is ever important for people to know what I do, who I sleep with, who I date … but in this instance it is very different because as I said, there are so many people that are side-eyeing me, looking at me questionable.
‘I have lost money, friendships, relationships behind it and I think it is because people don’t necessarily know the truth. But I have never done anything wrong.
‘I love those people [the Smiths] literally like my family. I don’t have a bad thing to say about them. They are beautiful people.’
Jada has previously denied rumors that she and Will are in an open relationship and said they will never divorce.
Talking on Sway’s Universe radio show in 2018. she said: ‘I’m just, like, keep [the divorce rumours] coming. Here’s the thing about Will and I – [we] are family. That is never going down. It’s just not. Ever.
‘We are family. Take out all that whole marriage/relationship crap, at the end of the day, Will and I are family. I am going to hold him down, doesn’t matter.
‘All that relationship and what people think ideas of a husband, partner and all that, man, whatever. At the end of the day, that is a man that can rely on me for the rest of his life, period.’
Jada also denied their marriage was open, saying in a Facebook post: ‘The statement I made in regard to, “Will can do whatever he wants,” has illuminated the need to discuss the relationship between trust and love and how they co-exist…
‘Will and I BOTH can do WHATEVER we want, because we TRUST each other to do so. This does NOT mean we have an open relationship…this means we have a GROWN one. [sic].’
Will has previously said that the couple no longer use the ‘married’ title but refer to each other as ‘life partners’.
‘We don’t even say we’re married anymore,’ he told BET
