Page Six reported on Friday (Aug. 16) that defense attorney’s for one of the men accused of participating in the July 2018 robbery, and abduction of “6ix9ine” says it was orchestrated by the rapper himself for an album promo. Now this wouldn’t be the first time someone recently faked his own robbery as we know this follows the same sort of nonsense done by Jussie Smollett who ‘Took Advantage Of The Pain And Anger Of Racism,’ just to get himself 15mins of fame, and then tried to pass the blame to the President.
Now in this “6ix9ine” case they’re now saying that there was “No robbery or kidnapping or assault happened,” says Devereaux Cannick, who works as an attorney for Tekashi’s alleged kidnapper Anthony “Harv” Ellison. “He was about to drop another album…gotta get that buzz up. That’s how he makes money.”
Ellison, known as “Harv” among the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, is accused of the crime. Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack are the only two men in Tekashi’s federal racketeering case that have pleaded not guilty, and they will both go to trial for the case on Sept. 16. Recently filed court documents suggest that 6ix9ine will testify against them.
Connick also claims that the car used to kidnap 6ix9ine was wired by the government ahead of time, which would mean the whole encounter was recorded. “We believe that’s going to be very useful to us,” he says.
U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said that a cooperating witness only labeled as “CW-2” would be testifying about the incident, as well as conversations he had with Kifano “Shotti” Jordan and co-defendant Jamel “Mel Murda” Jones after the robbery, including “a conversation that took place as Jordan and Jones brought an assault rifle to CW-2’s house for protection after the robbery.” Media outlets believe that based on the way dates cited in the documents correlate with the day of 6ix9ine’s alleged kidnapping, CW-2 is 6ix9ine.
In an interesting note, Ellison, who the celebrity news site says is a member of the Nine Trey Bloods, used to be a member of Tekashi’s management team before the rapper blew up. Sources say that Ellison was upset with 6ix9ine because he didn’t feel like he got paid enough for the work he did. Those same sources say he was fired after 6ix9ine’s LAX brawl last February. According to records at the time 6ix9ine was robbed, it was reported that he’d been robbed of over $750,000 worth of jewelry.
When he was in an interview on radio shortly after the robbery he told Angie Martinez that the robbers had purposely crashed into the back of a car he was riding in before pistol-whipping him and throwing him in the back of their car. After cruising for a while, he began to think about the way his fellow rapper XXXTentacion was shot and killed during a robbery the month prior.
“I’m just talking to God and I’m thinking about the whole X situation and I’m just like, ‘Yo, do I really wanna lose my life right now just because I won’t give something up?’”
Ellison and Mack both face life behind bars if convicted…
