Latest on the Boston Red Sox Investigation

So before the earth went into CoronaVirus Lockdown one of the main storylines in MLB this offseason revolved around the Houston Astros, and The Boston Red Sox. After the Astros cheating scandal investigation was aired, and completed, the Boston Red Sox found themselves involved in a cheating scandal also. One involving the 2018 World Series they won that year.


MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred provided an update in regards to where the investigation currently stands on ESPN. Evan Drellich of The Athletic provided the update on Twitter… Given how much uncertainty commissioner Rob Manfred is dealing with, it’s understandable that he hasn’t found time to address some lingering business from the time before COVID-19, such as authoring the league’s report on the Boston Red Sox’s alleged technological misconduct during their championship 2018 season. Basically, the Red Sox are accused of stealing signs by using their replay room in a violation of the league rules.
