Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters Afterlife! “IT’S GONNA WORK.” – BILL MURRAY

BILL MURRAY TALKS “GHOSTBUSTERS AFTERLIFE,” and says “IT’S GONNA WORK.” This was directly from Murray to Vanity Fair who wrote about their recent visit to the set of director Jason Reitman’s upcoming GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE and talked to the man himself about his role in the new movie and how the film deals with the passing of original Ghostbuster Harold Ramis.

“Well, we are a man down. That’s the deal. And that’s the story that we’re telling, that’s the story they’ve written. The script is good. It’s got lots of emotion in it. It’s got lots of family in it, with through lines that are really interesting. It’s gonna work.”

Midnight’s Edge did a good YouTube video about the complicated history between Bill & Ghostbusters 3. Well and the franchise in total. Check it out below.

This is the story “After the members of a team of scientists (Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray) lose their cushy positions at a university in New York City, they decide to become “ghostbusters” to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city. The Ghostbusters must now save New York from complete destruction.”

The cast currently includes Carrie Coon as a single mother, with Finn Wolfhard as her son, Mckenna Grace as her daughter, and Paul Rudd as a teacher. GHOSTBUSTERS stars set to return include Bill Murray as Peter Venkman, Dan Aykroyd as Raymond Stantz, Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barrett, Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz, and Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore.

Directed by Jason Reitman from a screenplay he co-wrote along with Gil Kenan based on the original film which was written by Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ivan Reitman. GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE is produced by Ivan Reitman. It hits a theater near you on July 10, 2020.
